Tell the community about yourself: I have been a member of Caddo Down’s HOA four years. I have served on the board for the last three years. I have two children that live with me and both are going to be in college in August so I will have more free time on my hands.
Why do you want to serve on the Board? I and the other board members along with many of our community members have worked very hard to make our community safe, pleasant to look at and would like to continue in that role. I want to ensure that homeowners have the freedom to make their home their own and ensure restrictions stay reasonable.
What experience or skills would you bring to the board? I have been on three state subcommittee I have been on several other boards as a volunteer and as a paid board member in the past. I am reasonable levelheaded and do not hold grudges or take things personally when people are upset about things regarding their homes, violations, etc..

I’m also a trained mediator and that skill set is very helpful as a board member. What do you see as the biggest issue facing Caddo Downs today? The biggest issues we have in our neighborhood, our homes that their front yards are not maintain to a standard that helps raise the property value of all of our homes. In the past, we’ve had inconsistencies with our management and fostered confusion.
If elected, what is your #1 priority? My number one priority is to facilitate relationships within our community that are kind and solution focused.
How do you approach decisions that may not be popular with all homeowners? I think that is very important to listen ensure that others feel heard and consider all sides of the situation. When a decision is made that is unpopular, it is very important that the board stays transparent, and everyone understands why decisions have been made.

Tell the community a little about yourself. I have been living in Caddo Downs since Nov 2020. I’m married with 2 children. I’m the Director of Operations for a private charter airline in Ft. Worth, TX.
Why do you want to serve on the Board? I’ve been serving on the Board for the last two years in the capacity of Secretary and now Treasurer. I enjoy serving on the Board as it’s an incredible feeling of community involvement.
What experience or skills would you bring to the board? Financial Analysis is a strong suit of mine. I have overseen budgets of all sizes and take an interest in making wise fiscal decisions. I also have mediation experience as well as experience as a liaison.
What do you see as the biggest issue facing Caddo Downs today? The aesthetics of the neighborhood is a major issue. Caddo Downs MUST be a neighborhood of homeowners who take pride in their most expensive asset and want to uphold the highest curb appeal standards to maintain an increased value.
If elected, what is your #1 priority? My #1 priority will be to collaborate with my fellow Board members to make the best decisions possible for the greatest good of the homeowners.
How do you approach decisions that may not be popular with all homeowners? Education and transparency are the keys. Homeowners need to be educated about WHY a decision was made the way it was and the value of that decision over others.
